I hear static on the other end of my call

Line noise will not be caused by an issue with your fiber Internet connection. The trouble will originate from either a bad phone, bad inside wiring, or possibly the phone jack on the ONT (modem) itself. 

Troubleshooting:

  1. Try another phone
  2. Replace the phone cord going from the jack to the phone
  3. Reboot the ONT and test again.
  4. Plug a phone directly into the phone port on the ONT
    • If line noise persists direct to the phone port on the ONT, please contact our technical support team here.
    • If there is no line noise direct to the phone port on the ONT, there is likely an issue somewhere inside with the inside wiring or one of the phones/devices plugged into a phone jack. Please contact our technical support team here for further assistance.
