Setting up your Nokia Beacon only takes a few minutes and doesn’t require any technical experience. Follow these simple steps to get whole-home Wi-Fi up and running with GoNetspeed.
What's in the Box?
Before you get started, take a look inside your Nokia Beacon box. You’ll find:
- The Beacon unit
- An Ethernet cable
- A power adapter
How to Set Up Your Nokia Beacon
Step 1: Plug in the Power Adapter
Plug the power adapter into your Beacon unit and into an outlet. You’ll see the LED indicator light turn on, letting you know the device is powered up and ready to go.
Step 2: Connect the Ethernet Cable
Next, connect the Ethernet cable from your main router to the WAN port on the Beacon. This links your Beacon to your existing GoNetspeed network.
Step 3: Download the Nokia Wi-Fi App
Download the Nokia Wi-Fi app from your preferred app store, then open it and follow the on-screen setup steps.
Step 4: Scan the QR Code
When prompted in the app, find the QR code on the base of your Beacon unit and scan it to continue setup. In just a few taps, your Beacon is connected.
