PHELPS, New York (December 7, 2022) – Upstate Fiber Networks (UFN) announced today that it has rebranded its name to GoNetspeed. This rebrand follows UFN’s April 2021 acquisition by Oak Hill Capital, a private equity firm with a portfolio of fiber-to-the-home companies, completing a year-long initiative to unify the five legacy companies under one brand name.
As GoNetspeed, UFN will continue its expansion throughout Western New York and the Finger Lakes, providing high-speed residential and commercial fiber internet services throughout the region.

GoNetspeed has invested nearly $200 million to build out approximately 2,000 miles of Fiber Internet to 200,000 locations across multiple states. The fiber technology is designed to provide the fastest symmetrical upload and download speeds available directly to homes and businesses.
By the end of 2022, more than 35,000 homes will be serviceable within the New York market, with plans for continued expansion.

Even those who may not be serviceable at this time should enter their information so they can be notified of possible future expansions to their area.
