Rockland, ME.— August 15, 2023— GoNetspeed today announced that construction has officially begun to bring 100% fiber internet to more than 3,100 homes and businesses throughout Rockland. Through GoNetspeed’s privately funded $2.1 investment in Rockland, residents throughout the area are expected to receive access to service as early as this fall.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2023 when Rockland will have the opportunity to tap into GoNetspeed’s symmetrical fiber internet speeds, allowing customers to upload just as fast as they download.
