GoCommunity Program
Important Update
The federal government has discontinued the Affordable Connectivity Program (“ACP”). Customers may no longer enroll in the ACP and will not receive the ACP discount on their monthly bill.
On January 11, 2024, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) issued an order detailing the wind-down process for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) due to the expectation that funding for the program will run out by May 2024.
Due to the lack of funding, the FCC has mandated an ACP enrollment freeze beginning February 8, 2024. The FCC will not allow new ACP enrollments after this date.
GoNetspeed’s customers currently enrolled in ACP will continue to receive their ACP discount of up to $30 per month until the program officially runs out of funds. Right now, that is projected to be at the end of April 2024 unless Congress approves additional funding.
Once the program ends, current ACP customers may continue to receive service from GoNetspeed but will no longer receive a discount on their monthly bill.
Current ACP customers will receive further notifications from GoNetspeed regarding changes to billing and service options once the FCC releases additional information.
