Product Manager- Voice

The Product Manager works with leadership and internal stakeholders to develop and manage GoNetspeed’s voice products. The Product Manager reports to the Director of Product and Market Planning and serves as the company product expert for the products in his/her portfolio. The role involves dual responsibilities of Product Development and Product Management. As such, the Product Manager works with multiple internal departments including Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Service, Billing, Finance and Procurement to deliver and maintain high-value products to GoNetspeed customers.

Essential Job Functions:

· Drives the development pipeline for specific products and market regions, with initial focus on rolling out an HPBX product and introducing voice service in new market regions

· Discovers what customers need through user feedback and third-party research

· Develops product features that deliver high value to customers

· Develops and maintains product descriptions for use by internal constituents

· Reviews existing products for retirements, migrations and improvements

· Works closely with Marketing to develop product-related copy

· Makes pricing recommendations based on cost structure and market conditions

· Collaborates with Finance, Planning and Analysis to deliver product forecast

· Partners with internal departments such as Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Service, Tech Support, Billing and Field Staff to define project goals, build out project tasks and schedules, and coordinate the implementation of the product or feature

· Identifies risks of how a product or feature may be delayed, and develops a plan to keep it on track

· Communicates with all stakeholders

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to build effective relationships and work cross-functionally

· Experience in telecommunications and/or a passion for consumer technology

· Ability to work independently

· Knowledge of business process concepts, telecommunications OSS/BSS a plus

· Well-organized with an appreciation for the need for clear communication and documentation

· Microsoft Office programs, such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

· A passion for delivering a great customer experience

· Intellectual curiosity

Desired Experience and Skills:

· Product management or project management experience

· Business analysis

Education and Experience:

· Education: 4 year degree

· Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
