Network Provisioner

GoNetspeed is looking for a Network Provisioner to join our team.

Job Description

This individual should enjoy working multiple projects in a fast paced, team centric environment. The Provisioner is responsible for provisioning both commercial and residential based services. The Provisioner will also project manage all aspects of the customer turn-up including ordering, contractor management, back-office updates, and more.
  • Provision/order processing of installations, upgrades, disconnects & changes
  • Update work queues in customer database and comment customer accounts
  • Provision new PON nodes as needed
  • Ability to navigate a number of systems for outside plant, customer management, back-office support, etc.
  • Ability to solve order issues and handle escalations

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong project management and organizational skills are essential
  • Previous experience provisioning PON network equipment (preferably Nokia PON equipment)
  • Previous experience configuring Cisco IOS-XR a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship, and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Understanding of network technology industry, technology and terminology


  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or Information Technology preferred with at least 2 years’ experience in a provisioning role.
  • Associate degree with 5 years of telecommunications experience with at least 2 years in a provisioning role.
