GoNetspeed COO Tom Perrone recently reflected on what the company has experienced over the first six months of 2018 and where they’re going moving forward the rest of the year.
 
 
Q1. What has been the progress of GoNetspeed in 2018?
 
Tom: Simply put, the GoNetspeed team continues to amaze me. The expertise of this team is unparalleled to any in the industry -- they know how to plan, construct, and maintain fiber network. In the first 6 months of 2018, they have built 100 miles of network across 13 towns in two different states, making service available to over 30,000 homes!  
 
Q2. What are customers saying about GoNetspeed?
 
Tom: The positive customer response has been overwhelming. I encourage people go on our Facebook page and see what customers are saying. Every review has been positive. It’s exciting that our customers can immediately see how we are different from their previous providers.
 
Q3. What are the most frequent questions you get from customers looking to switch to your service?
 
Tom: In general, people are creatures of habit. Even if they are unhappy with the customer service, price or speeds of their current provider, some are still hesitant to switch. So we hear all kinds of questions from router choices to cord cutting to understanding what speed to select for their home. I think we do a good job answering these questions on an individual basis for our prospective customers which is something that sets us apart.
 
Q4. Speaking of what differentiates GoNetspeed from other providers, can you elaborate on that?
 
Tom: We care about providing our customers tremendous value without trickery of price hikes and promotions. In fact, we take that one step further by providing customers a Lifetime Price Pledge which states that for the entire time a resident is a customer and within its service territory, GoNetspeed will not raise their monthly Internet fee.
 
Customers can also see that we are committed to excellent customer service coupled with unmatched high speed and performance that will allow the customers to take advantage of future high-speed trends like online gaming, streaming 4k video, home security and surveillance, home automation, etc.
 
Q5. What's up next for GoNetspeed?
 
Tom: To continue to build to as many homes as quickly as we can, yet maintain our focus on our customer service and network performance. In general, the U.S. is behind on the implementation of high-speed Internet access choice for consumers. There are countless ways to utilize the needed bandwidth, we just need to extend the network to the consumer so they can decide how they want to use it!
